Relax relax relax

“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” ~ Unknown

I just love this quote as it reminds me of a much loved mantra I often share with students: let’s slow down and gently begin to cultivate a sense of serenity in the midst of activity.

It is through life experience that we learn the sacred art of dancing with serenity in the midst of activity, and when feeling frustrated I’m reminded that patience, practice and repetition matter.

We have a few more weeks of Mercury Retrograde so it’s a great time for reviewing what works and what no longer does.

Retrogrades often bring up feelings of anxiety and uncertainty about the future, and sometimes when I’m looking back on some of my life choices and decisions I wonder “What was I thinking?”

Here are a few tips I’m finding helpful:

Smile
Breathe
Slow down
Be kind to yourself
Stay in the present moment
Be compassionate towards
yourself and others
Breathe
Smile

And changing subjects…can you believe Summer Solstice is just around the corner?

We’ll move into the gentle sign of Cancer soon, and she reminds us to slow down, feel, and become more inspired by our intuition. So this fast pace Gemini energy is nearly done and the intensity will start lifting…yay!

All righty that’s it for now…I’m finishing up the details for my June 22 Workshop that strengthens our hearts, loosens our joints and decreases physical pain…excited to teach these ancient principles for the 3rd time to folks wanting to experience more ease and freedom.
