“Everyday, the world will drag you by the hand yelling This is important! And this is important! And this is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this! And each day, it’s up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say No. This is what’s important.” ~ Iain Thomas
Lol…as I write this Musing several deck guys are hammering, drilling and building a beautiful new deck for me during while I’m leading Qigong practices via Zoom.
They started last week, didn’t come yesterday which is the only day I’m not teaching, and started in right before my first class…LOL!
It’s funny but it really only takes a moment for something to grab my attention, and I now know it’s up to me to decide how I want to use my energy, and where I’d like to place my attention and focus.
What’s so cool is that fortunately we have excellent problem solving skills acquired through life well lived, we are the survivors who thrive in adverse conditions both the little ones and the BIG ones.
Life is moving fast, weather’s often HOT and life feels more unpredictable especially as I’m learning all kinds of new things that really test my skills to be vulnerable, brave and lead with an open heart when challenged.
So today’s Musing is all about honoring YOU, and the difference you make for the people, causes and ways tyou choose to more forward on your wild unknown path – it’s an honor to be traveling with you:)
“Live in the sunshine. Swim in the sea. Drink in the wild air.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
