“It’s a funny thing about life. Once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.” ~ Germany Kent
I recently discovered this short 6 minute film that features wild swimmer Robert Flood.
He talks about how his anxiety increased with Covid’s restrictions, and he realized the importance of his getting out of the house alone, into nature, and into water.
This beautifully produced film moves at a slower pace, and is honestly narrated by Robert.
One take away that stands out for me is the reminder to prioritize self-care.
Being present for ourselves matters, and it is important that we take care of our mental health.
“Look closely at the present you are constructing. It should look like the future you are dreaming.” ~ Alice Walker
All righty…hope you enjoyed this small film…wishing you a fun summer weekend filled with a wild idea or two.
