I was recently reading about Mother Teresa and came across this interesting story:
In 1979, Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and she requested that the entire $192,000 endowment (about $700,000 in today’s money) be distributed to the poor.
When asked if we should all be doing more she responded:
It is not how much we do,
but how much love we put in the doing.
It is not how much we give,
but how much love we put in the giving.
Changing subjects ~ When it comes to our health and mind/body balance, I believe we have more choices than we might expect.
Over the years I’ve come to realize that it’s our small daily CHOICES that determine the quality of our lives, and the life we are living today reflects the decisions we made years ago.
