“How do you spell love? T I M E” ~ Edith Eiger
Watching waves crash and recede, breathing in fresh air, and smelling the wild surf as I walk the beach helps me shift gears, and I’m just a better person to be around after I’ve been to the shore.
I’m a big fan of wandering and can appreciate any stretch of wild beach, the more remote the better.
A beautiful excerpt from Joseph Campbell’s The Power of Myth:
“You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes to you.
“This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen.”
We just switched into Virgo season and with all the changes in the world, let’s be kind to ourselves, slow down and get practical:
1 – Slow down so you can go within
2- Take extra time for yourself each day
3 – Try something new that can create lasting change
And I just came across these words again:
“Body like a mountain
Breath like the wind
Mind like the sky”

All righty that’s it for this week…I thought you might appreciate a seaside moment today.
Thank you for being my penpal and reading these Musings…it’s my honor to conjure them for you each week.
