“There is a time to act, and a time to wait, to listen, to observe. Then understanding and clarity can grow. From understanding, action arises that is purposeful, firm, and powerful.” ~ Charles Eisenstein
Ahhh….yes…taking time to slow down, ponder, wander and be curious happens naturally when we break free from our usual daily routine.
Sometimes it may feel as if we are trying to surf while straddling two waves – one going out and one coming in:)
Here are a few ideas to consider:
Take a salt bath
Choose a healthy new habit
Clean out your inner and outer closets
Set new goals and intentions – one inner and one outer
Be mindful of change as you declutter and release the old and embrace the new
A fun healthy new habit I’m establishing is playing my metal bowls every morning, and I find this simple practice sets the tone for my day.
As I gently strike the bowls, each one reminds me to soften my heart, pause for a few moments longer, and allow these sacred vibrations to heal my body, mind, spirit and emotions.
“A harmonized mind produces harmony in this world of seeming discord.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda
Back in 1961 a young artist had a wild idea while living near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and 60 years later his vision has come to life. Check out Christo’s latest art exhibit.
All righty that’s all for this week…and let’s take a few more moments for ourselves this weekend…enjoy.
Let’s BE slower:)
